Comfort food! Dodgy weather and a cooking bug resulted in my first time making congee and luckily it was a success!
I read some internet recipes calling for 1 part rice to 10 parts water (!!!) but I used about a 1:7 ratio I think (pretty much all that could fit into our pot, and it totally looks like a HECK of a lot of congee!).
Included pretty much everything I could think of (hehehe):
*Chicken (marinated in soy, ginger and sesame oil)
*Fish (perch)
*Ginger
*Green Onion
*Chilli
*Chilli preserved tofu
*Chilli Bamboo
*Pork floss
*Peanuts
*Salty Duck Egg
